.NET Developer of Mobile Business Applications
We are searching for a talented and motivated developer
to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to further enhance
our existing product, jLAN Mobile, to become the world’s finest
route accounting and mobile sales software solution.
This is a full time position for local South Florida
based candidates ONLY. jLAN may consider sponsoring for H1B visa

Job Description
- Software development utilizing C#, TSQL, XML and HTML across
multiple projects
- Database Design including tables, stored procedures and
SSIS development utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
- Software development using Visual Studio Team System 2008/2010
- Software testing utilizing test cases developed under VSTS
2008/2010 and data driven test methodologies.
- Your input is important to us. Software design, analysis
and architecture
- You will research, develop and implement NEW
technologies
- Research, test and recommend NEW
mobile devices including Windows Mobile, iPhone and Droid
- Development of mobile applications
Qualified candidates must have:
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in C#, SQL, and XML
- 3 plus years experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008. Experience
with merge replication a plus. Must be capable of writing SQL
scripts and developing SQL stored procedures
- Experience using XML/XSL and related standards, Web Services,
SOAP and APIs
- Windows Forms development experience
- Excellent design, coding and debugging skills
- Ability to follow and help improve development standards
and patterns
- Experience with IIS, network routing and firewall configuration
- Experience with Windows Mobile
- Experience with other mobile platforms
- Must be able to take ownership with minimum technical supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivation with a positive attitude
- Past experience working in parallel with remote or offshore
teams a plus
Additional Desired Skills
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems a definite plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, AX and NAV
a HUGE plus
- Experience with NetSuite and Syspro systems
a plus
- Fluent Spanish is a plus but not required
Software Implementation and Support Engineer of Technical
Services
Position Description
This role is responsible
for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to successfully
deliver technical services required for delivery and implementation
of the jLAN Mobile Software solution. This position will also handle
post implementation support requests and interface directly with
customers. This position requires a strong technical background,
excellent businesses analysis skills and excellent communication
skills. The person must be extremely thorough, organized and follow
up diligently on open tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on project implementation installing and supporting jLAN
Mobile.
- Deliver software implementation effectively by establishing
realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain
on target to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with and across client and internal teams.
- Plan for the successful deployment of software enhancements,
patches and implementations with established release schedules.
- Ensure proper time entry and scheduling of projects.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Experience with business processes such as sales orders, invoicing, inventory management, inventory costing, pricing
and distribution a plus.
- Strong leadership, project management and
problem solving skills.
- Excellent programming skills in C#, C++ using .Net framework.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and firewall
configuration.
- Experience with IIS.
- Experience with Windows Mobile.

Additional experience in any of the following would be an advantage: Exposure to ERP systems including Microsoft

Help File development, QA Release Procedures, Network Administration and Server Administration.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with software delivery and implementation.
- 3+ years of software design and development experience.
- 2 years experience with networking concepts including IIS
and Firewalls.
- 2 years of managing software development or technology related team.
- Must have experience in working through design, development and release cycle delivering product.
Education
- 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
